Asheville, NC – One Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Brevard Rd

Asheville, NC (December 15, 2020) – Around 7 p.m. on Monday night, December 14, one person was killed in a fatal pedestrian crash in Asheville.

According to local officials, the accident occurred on Brevard Road. A pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was struck while crossing the road in the area. It is believed that the vehicle remained at the scene.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Nobody else was injured as a result of the accident.

The roadway was closed for approximately two hours while police worked to clear the scene.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
