Charlotte, NC – Car Accident at Ellison St & S Torrence St

Charlotte, NC (April 29, 2021) – At 1:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, April 29, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.

According to authorities, the accident happened at the intersection of Ellison Street and South Torrence Street. Two or more vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
