Charlotte, NC – Car Accident at Runnymede Ln and Lacie Ln Intersection

Charlotte, NC (December 14, 2020) – Around 11:51 a.m. on Monday morning, December 14, a car accident occurred at a Charlotte intersection.

Few details have been released but Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Runnymede Lane and Lacie Lane. Police have confirmed that the vehicles involved collided with each other after entering the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized, though the extent of their injuries is not fully known. The parties have not yet been identified.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
