Charlotte, NC – One Person Killed in Fatal Crash on Brookshire Blvd

Charlotte, NC (January 22, 2021) – On Friday morning, January 22, one person was killed in a fatal crash that took place on a major roadway in Charlotte.

According to Charlotte officials, the accident happened on Brookshire Boulevard near the area of I-485. Few details have been released but it is believed that the accident involved several vehicles, which were badly damaged as a result of the collision.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision to help those in need. One person, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. It is not believed that anyone else was injured.

The roadway was closed in all lanes for a period of time as police cleared the scene.

No further details have been released. The investigation continues.
