Charlotte, NC – Hit-and-Run Crash at Ashley Rd and Kempton Pl

Charlotte, NC (December 23, 2020) – Around 11:40 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, December 23, a hit-and-run crash took place at a Charlotte intersection.

According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Ashley Road and Kempton Place. One vehicle allegedly struck another at the intersection and then fled the scene of the crash. It is not known if police were able to find the party responsible for the accident.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to assist the victims that remained at the scene. One or more parties were hospitalized due to their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the collision continues.
