Charlotte, NC (November 20, 2020) – Around 4 a.m. on Thursday, November 19, one person was killed in a fatal collision in Charlotte.
According to police, the accident took place in the southbound lanes of I-77 around the area of Sunset Road. The exact circumstances of the accident are not yet known but it is believed that multiple vehicles collided in the area, leading to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. One person, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues at this time.
