Charlotte, NC (May 9, 2021) – Around 4:00 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, May 9, a pedestrian accident occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that one person was struck by a vehicle near South Park Mall in south Charlotte, according to medics. Paramedics responded to the Archdale Drive and Park South Drive intersection after receiving a call that someone was struck by a vehicle.
Officials said the victim was transported to a local hospital via ambulance and is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
