Charlotte, NC – Rollover Accident on S Tryon St Leads to Injuries

Charlotte, NC (January 30, 2021) – At 6:30 p.m. on Friday night, January 29, a rollover accident with injuries took place on a major roadway in Charlotte.

According to Charlotte officials, the accident happened on South Tryon Street near the area of I-485 when multiple vehicles collided with each other. One of the vehicles immediately rolled over at the scene. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized, though their identities and conditions are not entirely known.

Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked in the area for some time. This led to extensive delays.

No further details have been released. The investigation is currently ongoing.
