Hendersonville, NC (March 31, 2021) – On Sunday morning, March 28, a moped accident occurred at an intersection in Hendersonville.
According to authorities, the accident happened at the intersection of US-64 and Tuttle Road. A passenger vehicle slammed into a moped in the area, which ejected the moped driver. The vehicle then fled the scene of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene. The moped driver, identified as 45-year-old Brent Marshall, was pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries.
Police later found the 25-year-old driver who was responsible for the accident. It is not known if any charges have yet been filed.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
