Winston-Salem, NC – One Injured in Rollover Accident on US-52

Winston-Salem, NC (December 17, 2020) – Around 5:41 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, December 17, one person was injured in a rollover accident on a major highway.

According to Winston-Salem Police, the accident took place on US-52 around the area of I-40. Though few details have been released, police confirmed that two vehicles collided with each other at the time of the accident. One of the vehicles immediately rolled over.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.

No further details have been released. The investigation continues.
