Charlotte, NC (May 11, 2021) – At 4:50 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 11, a car accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Carmel Road and Pineville-Matthews Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided at the intersection. The vehicles were left with extensive damages as a result.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of the accident.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
