Charlotte, NC (May 12, 2021) – At 9:25 p.m. on the night of Wednesday, May 12, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Hickory Grove Road and North Sharon Amity Road. Two vehicles were allegedly traveling in the area when they collided with each other at the intersection. The vehicles involved sustained severe damage.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
