Charlotte, NC – Devin Williams Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Albemarle Rd

Charlotte, NC (March 6, 2021) – Around 7:15 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, March 4, a fatal motorcycle crash took place at an intersection in Charlotte.

According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, the crash took place at the intersection of Albemarle Road and Nathanael Green Lane. It is believed that a motorcycle entered the intersection at the same time as a pickup truck, striking the rear.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. The driver of the motorcycle, identified as 26-year-old Devin Williams, was transported to the hospital for injuries but died while there.

The driver of the pickup truck, who has not yet been identified, was not hurt and remained at the scene to cooperate with the police.

Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
