Charlotte, NC – Hit-and-Run Accident at Brown-Grier Rd & Steele Creek Rd

Charlotte, NC (March 16, 2021) – Around 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday night, March 16, a hit-and-run accident occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.

According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Brown-Grier Road and Steele Creek Road when two vehicles collided with one another. One of the vehicles fled the scene of the accident without stopping. Police did not confirm if they were able to find the vehicle responsible for the collision.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were present at the scene. One or more victims in the vehicle that remained at the scene were hospitalized. Their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
