Charlotte, NC – One Killed in Fatal Accident on The Plaza

Charlotte, NC (January 4, 2020) – Around 3 p.m. on Monday afternoon, January 4, one person was killed in a fatal accident that took place in Charlotte.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Confirmed that the accident took place at 1900 The Plaza for reasons that are not yet known. At least one of the involved vehicles, a Kia, was left with extensive damages and debris scattered all over the roadway.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One person, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person received life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
